Review

Young FrankensteinParodying pretty much every movie based on the classic tale by Mary Shelley that preceded it, this film tells the story of the grandson of Dr. Frankenstein, who inherits his grandfather’s castle. Once in the castle, young Dr. Frankenstein will not be able to resist the temptation and with the help of his loyal assistants Igor and Inga will follow the steps of his ancestor and create a monster of his own.

Young FrankensteinIf you are looking for a fine comedy this is a safe bet. This film is possibly the best film of director Mel Brooks, and definitely the best Gene Wilder film. Marty Feldman is absolutely fantastic as Igor. While some of the gags aren’t that funny, some others are simply hilarious, and the ending is one of a kind.
